Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in UI web technologies : HTML, CSS, Javascript (Including frameworks such as Jquery, Bootstrap) and their patternsStrong background with
-HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Expert knowledge on Photoshop
- Proficient with a CSS Preprocessor such as Sass or LESS
- Domain expertise in UI/UX best practices. You are a problem solver with everything you develop to improve our site’s experience and drive action.
- Used to creating automatically responsive webpages for mobile, tablet, and desktop. Your work must appeal to all three.
- Experience with fluid grid systems and front-end frameworks
- Personal interest in staying up-to-date on the latest trends, including agile methodology and emerging best practices in the UI community.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills, with proven ability to communicate complex ideas
- (bonus) Certified on HubSpot
- (bonus) SEO/ AdWords Experience
- (bonus) Video production experience

In your portfolio, we'll be looking for:
- Ability to create beautiful designs by leveraging advanced knowledge of typography, layout and composition, colour theory, grid systems and use of photography

Key responsibilities:

UX design, visual design and artworking

  • Work with the Senior Digital Designer and Digital Customer Experience Manager to deliver brand aligned, engaging UX/UI across the online customer journey.
  • Create interactive wireframes and paper-based prototypes. Create pixel-perfect, visually attractive design concepts and artwork to meet functional requirements.
  • Ensure that all design concepts and artwork are in line with business expectation and project briefs.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop original and appropriate user experience ideas.

  • Provide web-optimised artwork (accompanied with instructions and requirements as necessary) to web developers to enable the build of new functionality.
Support marketing campaigns and sales initiatives

  • Help to create superior brand experiences that provide stand out in the market place.
  • Support the team in making reusable templates for the quick turnaround of merchandising tasks.           
Website support and testing

  • Support the development process with QA testing of changes, to ensure all deliverables meet the functional and non-functional user experience requirements.
  • Proactively triage and support the resolution of web related issues.
Key Requirements:

  • A strong interaction and visual digital designer with a head for HTML, CSS and responsive design / development (portfolio required).
  • A proven track record in a role working on complex digital design tasks.
  • Excellent UX/UI software knowledge – adept with industry standard applications and always on the look-out for new and exciting techniques.
  • Front end coding skills are desirable and will be needed. Training can be provided but a willingness to grow in this area is essential.
  • Working knowledge of digital development processes.
  • Experience and knowledge of working with a CMS tool.
  • Strong understanding of current online experience concepts and best practice.
  • Desire to apply user centred design techniques and web analytics data to tasks.
  • 2 years in a similar role.

*Have ideally worked within an Agile project management environment
